SPN Femslash Reverse Bang 2024

My third and final partnership for the Femslash Reverse Bang where I did the art.

Claire and Kaia have such a special place in the fandom heart, that I knew immediately I would be doing a piece with them. I'm forever indebted to Bobo Berens for everything he gave us a writer and I will always feel especially tender with his (and Jensen's) conviction that Kaia's story will be wrapped up. Miigwech!

@astralpenguin was a fabulous partner and I'm so glad they were as stoked as I was to have Dreamhunter on our hands. The prompt leaned into Kaia's dreamwalking abilities and astralpenguin crafted such a lovely story of grief and love that I couldn't be happier.

So, the banner reflects a sense of dreamscape with colors and textures in motion. Where the prompt picture shows Claire and Kaia contentedly floating in a dreamscape.

Chuck gasped as Kali wrapped her hands around his throat and squeezed. “N-no!” he managed, eyes bulging wide. “This...isn’t...in...the story!”

“No, I’m sure it isn’t,” Kali agreed, smiling as she lifted him off the ground. “Not in the one you wrote for yourself. Perhaps if you’d read more widely, you’d have realized…” Her smile vanished, replaced by a look of cold fury. “I was writing first. Yours is not the only story that matters, and besides,” she snapped Chuck’s neck, letting his body fall limp at her feet, “if anyone gets to end this world, it’s me.”
