Sam snuck down the bunker hallway balancing a tray on his hands; today was a special day. Sam knew she hadn’t been that excited for it but this year was different, this year he wasn’t going to just give her a card and a hug and tell his best friend happy birthday. No this year Sam Winchester got to make breakfast in bed for the love of his life, spoil her with a couple of gifts and make her, her favorite dinner then give her an amazing night of nothing but pleasure.

As he opened the door, he grinned at her sleeping frame, curled around his pillow, her dark hair sprawled out around her beautiful face. Sam set the tray on the dresser, her favorite pancakes drizzled with syrup, a big cup of coffee, and a birthday card. He turned back toward the bed, smiling to himself before he closed the door and climbed back into bed. She laid her head on his chest, yawning some before snuggling back into him. Sam wrapped his strong arms around her, kissing her head softly. “Baby wake up,” he whispered against her forehead. She groaned and snuggled closer to him “No, I wanna sleep a little longer,” her sleep laced voice still made Sam smiled as he pressed his lips to her forehead. “Happy birthday baby,” he whispered shaking her gently as his hands rubbed up and down her back.

“5 more minutes…” she groaned a little. Sam smirked “Alright, well your pancakes are gonna get cold then, plus, I wanted you to get up and get dressed, something causal and we would go to that little book store you loved so much, maybe get some coffee, buy some new books. Then I figured I’d make your favorite dinner tonight and we’d spend some very much needed alone time in bed, the whole works.” He smirked as she sat up smiling. “Really? You wanna spend the day just sitting in the back corner of a coffee shop/book store while I write and read?” she asked looking at him as he grinned. “Well first I want you to eat your pancakes, then I wanna watch you read and write in the little back corner of a coffee shop/ book store.” He gave her a playful smile as she bent down and kissed him softly, her fingers treading through his hair. “I love you Sam,” She whispered happily. “I love you too Andi”
