Here we are–SPNJax 2019 Photo Op Number 2! (Technically Number 3 because the real Number 2 JPEG hasn’t been purchased yet.)

This one was lots of fun. Once I learned that Rachel would be doing photo ops in costume as Meg, I knew I had to take advantage of the opportunity and coordinate to do something fun. Double Megs! My sister being present as Ruby wasn’t originally part of the plan, but since we couldn’t afford by this point to get one for each of us, we made it work, and I love the result. I call it the Ruby Sandwich on Meg Bread. And we look like we’re about to kick some serious ass.

If we believe Ruby that most demons don’t remember/realize they used to be human, maybe that’s why Meg stops caring about Azazel after S1 - in S2 or possibly as late as S5, she found out the truth that she was not really Azazel’s “daughter”, had used to be human, and was so upset by the lies (and if Azazel was somehow personally involved in her fate, like being the one who damned her or torturing her in Hell, then what he did to her) that she stopped considering him her father. (That’d also explain how she knew she used to be human when according to Ruby, that’s rare. Maybe Alastair clued her in, either intentionally to dick with Azazel or just super casually like “oh, you mean you didn’t know?”, since she was his apprentice and in Hell after S1?)

It would kind of parallel Dean’s arc of becoming disillusioned with his father.

Returning to Tumblr to share some of my photo ops from SPNJax! I’m gonna kind of split them up based on who’s in them, etc.

(And I know you lot like stories with photo op posts, so let’s get to it!)

So for the first one, I knew Misha had to be super tired as he kept mentioning in his panel, and so I just told him to do “whatever floats your boat, dude.” And so I ended up with a big hug and a beautiful photo that I’ll treasure forever, honestly.

Castiel ops are always a treat, and my sister had never done one, so I insisted on her being in it with me. So we changed into our Meg and Ruby cosplays, and I let her lead the charge. She told him to just hold me and push her away–and I love how he interpreted that–and after the photo was taken he held us up and asked us what exactly the scenario was. Were we dueling Megs, or what? All we had to do was tell him that my sister was Ruby for him to get it, and apparently he thought it was great because he laughed, and I died a little.

*whispers* What if because Azazel already expected that he might die because Dean went and spilled the beans, he handpicked a possible successor to take over manipulating Sam if needed and told them what they’d need to do? A loyal demon, good at keeping secrets, as devout as he was, someone who wouldn’t abandon the plan even if he wasn’t around to enforce it. The best out of any of his soldiers.

What if Dean caused Azazel to pick Ruby as his backup - made her ready to manipulate Sam right out of the gate and break the last seal?

Wait, so wasn’t the implication was that in this other world, John died as a teenager because Mary never brought him back? Because Bobby hadn’t heard of Sam and Dean Winchester, so he hadn’t lived long enough to kill children, and if John died 40 years ago as Bobby said, that’d put it in the 1970′s. (Unless Bobby was rounding and John died in the nursery in 1983 instead of Mary and this world’s Sam and Dean went by “Campbell,” but Bobby never mentioned Mary having sons, either.)

Because if Sam and Dean were never born in that world, the one Mary and Lucifer got sent to... that means Sam and Dean weren’t around to kill Azazel, Alastair, Lilith, Ruby, Abaddon. Bobby and Rufus are still alive, so the Harvelles (Bill included?), Pamela, Pastor Jim, Caleb, Gordon, Charlie, all of them might still be kicking. And most all the angels died because they got involved in working with/against the Winchesters, so they might be active too. (ANNA REAPPEARANCE! ANNA REAPPEARANCE!! GODDAMMIT SPN STOP TEASIN ME AND GIVE ME BAMF COOL-ASS ANNA!!!)

Whiiiich - assuming those characters haven’t been killed off in other ways - leaves Mary trapped in a world full of powerful players, including her own murderer, and Lucifer reunited with a world full of his strongest and most loyal demons - and quite possibly Lucifer-worshipper Uriel, who’d kill to recruit more angels to Lucifer’s side.

... I like. Bring back all the cool characters, baby! I’m diggin’ the potential for S13!

So, so far in my headcanon, Anna:

* dated Cassie in college

* went on the run together with Ruby all ~romantic~

* and also may have met Ellen and Jo and had a could’ve-been thing with Jo.

Anna gettin all the ladies. She’s the cool sister who puts all the other angels to shame.
