So this has been going around already because I didn’t make it clear on Twitter not to, like, carbon copy my whole story over here, but hopefully yall still love it.

So the whole con ended up being over an hour behind schedule, which means Cockles were going to be close to 8pm. Kaily's bedtime is between 7 and 8, she hadn't had a nap, and we had a 90m drive home, so I figured I'd call it a win with her Jensen op and send her home with her dad, even though she'd miss out on her yearly Cockles op. Well, she was REALLY upset about not taking another picture with Dean (and his friend Misha) so with a lot of nervousness and mom-guilt I decided to press my luck with an over tired preschooler in a loud photo op room and keep her there for the op. Again she danced the whole time in line, and said "I'm not going to be shy this time!" but froze up just a little when it was her turn (don't we all?). She covered her eyes again but peeked out at Jensen, who was crouching down and holding his arms out for her. Then she ran to him and picked her up, where she looked a little shell-shocked at all the lights, thus the pointing at the camera pose that turned out AMAZING - they look like her body guards and she looks about ready to fuck someone up. Chris was moving on to the next person, but Jensen said "no wait! we need one where she's smiling! Can you smile for us, sweetheart?" So I got a SECOND op for free because Jensen is amazing. I collected Kaily, thanked him and thanked Misha (who is always a good sport even when Jensen steals all the babies).

It’s taken me this long to really look at this picture for more than a few seconds at a time.I’m still not sure how I feel about how I look in this. It’s all still so surreal feeling, like it really didn’t happen.

So this has been going around already because I didn’t make it clear on Twitter not to, like, carbon copy my whole story over here, but hopefully yall still love it.  Kaily has been excited about meeting "Dean" all week (we watch videos of him singing at SNS and other kid-friendly things like that). She was thrilled about her "Dean Costume" and was dancing and charming everyone in line in what she called the "Dance Party Room" (the op room). As soon as it was our turn, tho, she got shy and hid her face in her hands. Jensen crouched down with her and started talking to her about her polka-dot shoes "do you know what? you're wearing my FAVORITE SHOES! look at all the dots on them!" which got her to un-hide and point out that they were wearing the same shirt. "You're right! And you know what your other shirt says? [me: it says I love hugs, Kaily!] Guess what? I love hugs too! Can I give you a hug?" and she nodded and threw her arms around his neck and omg I wish I had a picture of that moment!!! but then they turned her around and took this amazing picture. I thanked him profusely and he waved to Kaily her whole way out <3 <3 <3
