Sign-up for the Rare Pair Big Bang! Keep in mind the rules before submitting your form:
1. Eligible pairings have to have less than 50 fics listed on Archive of Our Own under their tag.
2. Popular side pairings are allowed, but you must keep the overall focus on the rare pairing.
3. Throuples are allowed, but the relationships between each of them must be rare. For instance, if you wrote a story that centers around Dean/Castiel/Missouri, it would not be accepted since Dean/Castiel is a popular pairing. But if you wrote Ellen/Benny/Missouri, this would be accepted since all of the potential relationships between those three characters are rarely found.
4. Big Bang Stories must be 15,000 words or more. Mini Bang Stories should remain under 15,000 words. Both are allowed here. If you need to change your story from a Mini Bang to a Big Bang or vice versa, please contact admins so that they can make the changes on your forms and info. Artists: Big Bang Stories should have a banner and 2-3 illustrations minimum. Mini Bang Stories should have a banner and 1 illustration minimum. Both Big Bang and Mini Bang stories have the same check in schedules.
5. Coauthors are allowed. Please put their Ao3 and/or Tumblr in the box when signing up. 6. If you must drop out, please do so before September 26th so that you will not be assigned an artist. 6. Schedule:
Author, Artist, and Beta sign-ups close on August 31st, 11:59 PM Eastern Time.
Your title, synopsis, rating, and genre(s) are due September 16th 11:59 PM ET (US). Artists will choose their story based on these synopses by September 26th 11:59 PM.
First Check In is November 4th, 11:59 PM. Roughly half of your story should be completed by this time.
Second Check In is December 2nd, 11:59 PM. You should be done or almost done with your story at this point and have a beta chosen.
Final Check In is December 16th, 11:59 PM. Your story should be polished at this point and submitted with your readers' summary, tags, pairing, rating, and warnings. Artists need to be finished with banners/covers for the story on the same date. Artists will send image file to the writers so they can submit them along with their progress to the SRPBB Admins. You will also inform SRPBB Admins of your top three preferred dates you would like to post your story on Ao3. These dates will range between January 1st through January 31st. Artists should have any other pieces for the story done at least three days before the posting date.
