Written for the Supernatural September Prompt: On The Road

Baby had spent many years being a Winchester.

When Sam and Dean were little they filled her empty spaces with Army men and Legos and in return she took care of them. When the boys were young, John would drive on the road through the night she would keep her engine running smooth so it wouldn’t wake up the boys who were curled around each other in her back seat.

When Castiel first sat inside her she was filled in a different way. His colorful wings that reminded her of an oil spill on concrete filled her interior and the feathers were soft where they brushed against her doors and ceiling. His colorful shapes thoughts filled the static of her radio and most of his thoughts were about Dean.

When Cas became human, lost his grace and fell asleep on her backseat she would keep her engine running smooth in the same way she had when Sam and Dean were young.

In short, she loved being filled by Cas; considering how many times Dean and Cas had sex on her back seat maybe Dean also liked be filled by Cas.

Canonically, Dean never said Cas’ name after the fake phone call in 15.19. Canonically, while Bobby said Cas “Helped” revamp Heaven into a Heaven that Dean “deserved,” Cas never showed up. Canonically, Dean left that heaven, which contained his family, to go “find family.”

There is a glitch that is Cas-shaped, and Dean knows it.
