Spoiler AHS: double feature.
I came back to AHS *sigh*.
This two first episodes of the new season make me think a lot about artist struggling with inspiration and muse.
In my opinion, everyone can write, draw, play an instrument... if they work hard enough. I don't really think it's about talent. Yes, some people have a talent, but it's more like a convenience. They still have to work hard. Some people will have to work harder than other, but that doesn't mean they lack of talent.
To answer Harry Gardner's question: Why Quentin Tarantino's stories are compelling, but other are not even look at? The answer is simple: Money and contact.
Being talented is never enough if someone want to work for Hollywood. The content you produce must make money and approved by whatever producer you are working for. Talent has nothing to do with it.
Art is subjective anyway. Everyone creating art content will always have at least, one person to love their work.
Austin, Harry and Belle Noir want everything without working hard to get it. That probably make their creative content very empty and they are literally sucking life out of people. A great metaphor for rich people. They are parasite, not artist. I don't care of what Austin said about the other Zombie, they ware just probably more decent than them.
