Alright so, I wanna make one huge review post for the David movie, but lemme say a couple of things…
I’m very nitpicky about my David movies, but also- I couldn’t take the ending seriously in this movie 💀 I’m sorry, it reminded me of the ending from Disney’s crappy Wish movie, where everyone defeats the villain with the power of song and friendship
It was just like itttt, it genuinely made me laugh in the theater. I could hardly keep it in 😭
Like, y’know, you’d expect David to have his How Are The Mighty Fallen lament for Saul and Jonathan after the battle of Gilboa, but nu huh… nahhh… Jonathan dies- David doesn’t even have a moment to grieve over Saul and Jonathan- but hey! Let’s defeat the bad guys with the power of song! (and G-d I guess- that was basically the message)
But yeah, this is more of a me thing than me actually critiquing the ending, cause they ended his story with another storyline David had in the Bible, instead of going straight to David lamenting for Saul and Jonathan before becoming king- and like… it does its job. But really? Song? Lol… well actually, the “bad guys” (I’m trying my best not to spoil) got defeated by David’s men who finally put enough trust in G-d to help David, and David and his people were using the song to give them enough time to reach them…
Anyways, they had Goliath and King Achish wear mascra and lipstick. Achish was rocking that blue eye shadow
And also, no covenant scene for David and Jonathan who barely talk to each other, yet they keep giving each other small glances and smiles in every second they’re together on screen…
And oh yeah, David watched Jonathan die and tried to save him…

I really like Daphne and Oz they seem like a good pairing
I don't like the ending we were left with
Soto, I love that woman
Morgan's ex-boyfriend, Roman, is interesting and I want to know more, but alas got to wait
Kardevc is a crazy character, him growing to like Morgan is lovely

You know Clown's vault right. In the center (dead center like the very center block) that is Branzy's log out spot. Branzy has been busy on other servers and everything that on Unstable, Clown made a vault to hold valuables and Branzy is one of the most valuable people to him (plus Ferre).
