Take part in Alzheimer's Research UK's National Skydive Day 2016 and experience the thrill of a lifetime!
Alzheimers Research UK National Skydive Day 4 June 2016. Jumps can be undertaken at any one of 8 Parachute Drop Zones (DZs) throughout the UK of which the Peterlee DZ is one. Participants are required to raise a minimum of £400 in sponsorship. Hilary Evans, chief executive at Alzheimer’s Research UK, said: " ..... So we are asking people to step forward and do something extraordinary to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Research UK. We are not only looking for thrill seekers but also those who perhaps have never done something as brave as this before but want to try something new and raise money for a great cause ... "
A lot of people have claimed I'm stupid for doing this, however, it's being done!
On the 14th May this year I am doing a sponsored sky dive in aid of the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation. My Grandad passed away after a long battle with cancer in January 2008.
