Ever seen a spider drink?
Sadly, I found Russ dead this morning after only one night. He was struggling to move outside, so who knows what his internal situation was. Mature male, only 3 legs... the odds were stacked against him. I wish he could have had more of a chance.
So much has happened. I have 3 more spiders:
Pretzel: sling, unknown age, unknown sex, likely Phidippus audax. Found on the side of my pool.
Jumper: adult or subadult male Attulus fasciger. Found on the wall inside my house.
And lastly, Russ: wolf spider, unknown species/age, probably male? Found him outside. He only has three legs. Reddit says he's likely mature so no regrowth possible. I'm reading about how to keep him so he csn have a comfortable life for whatever time he has left.
Advice about caring for Russ is appreciated.
