omg i feel the exact same way. i mean i like it as a pairing, too, but i get really annoyed when people call it canon when it's not.

im mostly made uncomfortable by it due to their mental age difference and the way cyc treated him in the beginning (like yea i get it hes a ex con and hes not good at ~showing his feels~ but honestly those are bad excuses. im glad hes not as much of an ass now tho)
