i don't expect you'll care much for this considering it was my addition to your original post that unintentionally poked a raw nerve, but i do apologize for for any aggravation it may have caused. i'm not as passionate about the subject as you are but it is upsetting to think about the horrors caused by diamond mining and trading.

Aw, dude, there's nothing to apologize for! Truth be told I generally operate on a basic level of low-grade indignation about things I care about. It's just been so long since I'd seen anyone adding anything to that post that I was honestly a little surprised to see a "reblogged with comment" notice popping up. (Checking my activity page shows that it's actually been getting a lot of reblogs lately, just the quiet kind that I tend to skim over when the notifs show up on my dash.)

You seem like a cool person, though, and the apology is definitely appreciated. I'm sorry for snapping.
