It’s Hange.
Dead Hange.
And the one who reads it, the one who’s drawn back to that fog-covered town is Levi.
Imagine what kind of guilt could summon him to Silent Hill. The guilt of someone who lived. Someone who couldn’t stop the person he loved from sacrifice. Picture him in the empty streets, swallowed by the mist, every shadow bending into their shape. The fog whispers their laughter, their voice, bright and unbearable.
In this fanart, think of what he sees when he looks up at the sign that says Welcome to Silent Hill.
It’s not a welcome. It’s an accusation.
And maybe, somewhere in that endless grey, Levi will realize that the ghost he’s chasing isn’t Hange at all.
It’s himself.

Silent Hill 2 is one of my all-time favorite games, and creating this crossover was both a pleasure and a heartbreak… it’s so sad it hurts, hahaha 😭

i am unafraid to say this took WAAAAAAAAYY too long for my liking to work on, i literally went nuts, but compared to when i participated in levihan week this was a BLAST in the park!! i was actually PREPARED THIS TIME!!!!! HUZAHHH!!
mmh special thanksies to my peeps on discord who don't even follow me on tumblr (aside from one) who listened to me talk abt how insane this was making me go <33 was so soooo fun tho.. oh, and as always, thank you to @levihanfest for organizing this event as well :)) i may have only had the motivation to make ONE piece out of the three days given, but it was still worth my while!!

would've LOVED to have made another ficlet this time around, but i honest to god cannot think of anything to write down for this.. like MAN, i even went through the trouble of reading through the scream fandom wiki to get ideas but i just COULDN'T..
ill blame that on the fact i'm not too well-informed on the scream franchise huhuhu..
the whole process of making this thing was definitely something ... i don't do fully rendered work too much since they take FOREVER to do (krita tells me this took 13 hours at most for me to finish) but im definitely glad i made myself do it!! making the bgs was the best part heheh.. dunno why, it's just fun to see me being able to actually do stuff
THIS was the original idea, actually, and i'd only realized *veeery* late that i forgot to put the blood stains on Levi's mask and hands, but atp ive redone this drawing SO MANY TIMES that i'm just. leaving it like that.. hopefully it's not too much of a problem (not that you have a choice, really)
the chat bubbles, on the other hand, were mainly there cause i was imagining something more comic style like for the final product— something i went back on once the lighting was done since the white frames clashed WAAYYY too much with the darker atmosphere
im honestly glad i went through with changing the frame colors thought, def helped with how the final product looked in the end.. even IF it wasn't what i had originally intended
but ANYWAYS— if you're for some reason still reading, thank you for tuning into my insanity rambles :DD !! might not join in for the next weekend but i had a blast participating in this one!!
