they're marking their territory! mocha (my cat) does that to me when I get out of the shower too, but I think part of it for her is her insane love of water.
Is that what it is? I never really thought of it. My cat doesn't really drink that much water. And if she were thirsty she has bowls of water all over the house. She must just like bathwater.
