   “ on a scale of one to ten,  how mad would you be if i told you i got suspended for a week ? ”   words are hesitant.  the disappointment of those she cares about is more punishment than a week off school.   (  a week off is practically a vacation.  no books she can’t read,  no boys breathing down her neck,  no teachers nagging at her for not trying.  )     /     @spookyspirited !

❛     no,   i’m  not  talking  to  him  .    why   should  i  ?    dylan  made  it  pretty  clear  how  he  felt .    ❜    not  talking  to  him  was  an  understatement  .    natalie  had  done  everything  she  could  to  actively  avoid  him  &  make  it  clear  that’s  exactly  what  she  was  doing in  the  process .   there  was  no  way  of  not  seeing  him  .    they  were  living  under  the  same  roof,   attending  the  same  school,  co - existing  in  the  same  world  .    as  much  as  she  hated  to  acknowledge  that  was  her  situation  when  the  last  thing  she  wanted  was  to  see  the  likes  of  dylan  piper  everywhere,    she  refused  to  let  it  get  to  her  .    she  would  be  fine  .     what  did  he  have  that  a  dozen  boys  back  home  didn’t  ?        ❛     i  know  he’s  your  brother,  marnie  .    but  he’s  no  friend  of  mine  .     not  anymore  .   ❜     /   @spookyspirited
