san looks over at his mate, surprised by his words, "you'll fight joong? over that witch?"

"that witch has a name san, and y/n is also our mate," yeosang says looking at his lover with a frown on his pretty face. san huffs before turning his head away from yeosang.

"maybe to you she is," he mumbles under his breath.

"what was that?" yeosang asks and san immediately panics before shaking his head and stuttering out a quick 'n-nothing!' yeosang smiles as his mate, "that's what i thought."

I feel like I might know the answer to this but are there any nicknames the members of the Fold have for each other?

Faerie Yeosang: "hm. We all Call Hongjoong Captain...Chief, and-"

Seaborn Seonghwa: "smart ass, jackass, assh-"

Reborn Hongjoong: "and yet he called me none of these things when he's in my ass-"

Incubi Jongho: "they call me Gummy Bear...Baby Bear too...oh, im particularly soft for uh...pumpkin? S-sometimes. Dont look at me like that, there's nothing wrong with that!"

Manticore San: "...kitty. they call me kitty. Sometimes."

Dragon Mingi: "one time someone slipped up and called me Daddy as a joke and it stuck"

Eldritch Wooyoung: "that wasnt the only thing stuck."

Faerie Yeosang: "this is careening off topic. Im sure they didnt want to know all this extra detail. Anyway. Yunho we call puppy. He likes it. It makes him feel small when he needs to. Sometimes we call Mingi Helios because he looks like the sun when he flies. Wooyoung and I dont have any specific nicknames as of yet. Just simple petnames. Sorry for the chaos"

Hi hi! So I absolutely love your series “The Cat and Dog Game” it’s so good! You do such an amazing job with everything and I find myself going back and rereading chapters lol!

Totally random question and you don’t have to answer if you don’t want to but did you by any chance happen to go to school for culinary? The way you describe the dishes and the process of cooking and baking is so detailed that it got me thinking that maybe you have a background in it lol!

to answer your question, no i don't go to culinary school and never did. i am just really interested in food and cooking, i'm grateful that i come from a family that is just as interested in cooking and food too!

I feel like boyfriend Yeosang would be the sweetest to you, definitely the kind to put your needs first even if you try to take care of him before you, he’s just not having it lol. I also feel like he’d be the kind to tell the others (*cough* Wooyoung *cough*) to stop teasing you when he does it, but would 100% tease you when you are alone. It’s along the lines of “no one else teases you but me”.

These are just some random thoughts I’ve had in my head 😅

omg he totally would be so sweet with you! taking care of you, dotting on you and your needs and just holding you. he loves to baby you and make you flustered especially in front of the others. wooyoung or maybe even san would try to tease you about how yeosang babies you so much. of course yeosang would immediately tell them not to tease you, that you weren't one of the members and to be nicer. HOWEVER the second the two of you are alone, yeosang is immediately teasing you and even talking to you in a mocking voice. "my little y/n, only i can tease you, right? wooyoung and san can never tease you like i can." but obviously despite how he teases you, yeosang will always make sure to smother you in kisses and will hold you close to him, his arms wrapping around you. also i feel like he would only trap you in his arms so he can tease you more, whisper the teasing remarks right in your ear where you can't escape not that you really want to but you gotta at least ACT like you don't like it a little
