Oh gosh, I love your stories! OK so um. Humanstuck Poly DualSignLeer? They all live together and it's real nice. And maybe the anniversary of their relationship, one of them tries to bake a big fancy cake but either it A)burns horribly or B) the other two eat it before the words are put in and don't realize, hey, this cake was for the "/anniversary/ oh my god you can't just EAT a random cake"
Orpheus comes home from the store with flowers. Ezhno is there at the door to greet him and is handed one bouquet. It makes him roll his eyes but also smile. His are some white roses. The bright red ones are obviously for Sainath. Orpheus moves to find him even as Ezhno continues upstairs to change for dinner.
Sai is found in the kitchen having a piece of cake and is delighted to see the flowers. He jumps to hug Orpheus and almost squishes the flowers if not for Orpheus’s quick reactions. They trade a kiss and then sit down and share the piece of cake.
Ezhno comes to find them and encourage them to also get changed for dinner since their reservation is soon and stops dead at the sight of them. “What are you doing?”
They both look a little flushed to be caught feeding each other but pushes the bite into Orpheus’s mouth anyway. “Having a bit of cake. You know the waits at these places Ezhno. It won’t spoil the meal.” Orpheus nods.
Ezhno brings a hand to his face and pinches the bridge of his nose. “That wasn’t just any cake. That was for today. I was going to finish decorating it while you two got cleaned up. It was for when we got home, a surprise. You should not just eat things.”
“It’s in the kitchen. How are we supposed to know?” Orpheus huffs. Still he stands up and comes over to put an arm around Ezhno. “Still, I’m sorry. It’s just a piece and you can still decorate it and we’ll love it? You can blame Sai for the missing piece in any pictures.”
Sainath blows a raspberry at Orpheus. “Oh shush, you ate it too. Though I did cut the piece. I’m so sorry Ezhno.” He comes over to Ezhno’s other side and hugs his waist.
Ezhno sighs. “You’re both ridiculous. But somehow I love you anyway. Go get cleaned up and I will try to make it look nice regardless.” He gets a kiss to each cheek and can’t help a smile.
