Oh no, I think I figured out what’s wrong the She-Ra redemption arcs
The writers use the same “punishment” model as the haters calling for the blood of the villains.
Not actually working to atone for mistakes beyond uniting against a common threat.
They put the villains through the wringer and act as if this “cleanses” them of sin. And thus the wronged parties are written as just forgiving them when it doesn’t make sense given the emotions involved. (The princesses of She-Ra aren’t big picture people; the princess alliance would have been easier to restart if that was the case. Mermista would if consistent in character still be out for blood.)
...you know I know the writers said they were inspired by some of them having abusive religious backgrounds and I’m worried that trickled in.
