one detail I love in The Battle of Brightmoon is how She-ra retains her bright/standard lighting coloring, while the coloring of the other characters matches the dark environment. it makes She-ra stand out and really sells her as the "Princess of Power"
also I love that hug she shared with Bow, Netossa and Spineralla. it's always struck me as surprisingly sweet
She-ra! I’ve actually drawn the main character for once, can you believe it?
Apologies for not sharing in a while, 😖 Winter always seems to sap the creativity out of me.
Also, in the New Years spirit, below the cut I’m going to add some other She-ras/Adoras that I made in 2025 when I was still fresh to Procreate and looking for my art style. Admittedly not too proud of them, but might as well share.

Lmao to She-Ra's two (2) infamous running jokes : 🤣💯
• "All in favor of blaming it on Kyle, show of hands" ...
• "This is a PRISON"???!! ...
Vox has the same problem as Horde Prime from She-Ra 2018. Why does he have literal brainwashing powers? He would be much more interesting if he only relied on his interpersonal skills and charisma to brainwash people.
I'm such a hypocrit but I think its funny tbh
**She-Ra and the Princesses of Power spoilers ahead. Like season 3 finale stuff. you've been warned :)
The main reason I don't ship rujinu (or really any huntrix x saja ships), despite being adiment multishipper and def not being blind to the clear chemistry they have in the movie, is because I think Rumi (and the girls) deserves better. Every time I think about Rujinu, or Jinu in general, I think about all the people he and the Sajas killed for his own selfishness.
Yes, he's been tormented for hundreds of years and probably has a very thin grasp on his sanity. Yes, Rumi literally destroying the fucking Honmoon probably caused a lot of Gwi-ma related deaths, even if we didn't see it on screen (at least I don't think we did? Feel free to correct me on that).
Nonetheless, I can't force myself excuse what he did. This is not to say I dislike him as a character. Quite the contrary. I LOVE him as a character. His stupid perfect homocidal face fills me with unbridled rage and I love him and all the people behind his character for that.
Now, this all seems logical enough. Even if you don't agree with me you can at least see the reasoning, right? Sure.
Then you see my pfp. Literally Catra fuckin' Applesauce Meowmeow DESTROYING REALITY. I love Catra. I am a proud Catra apologist. Catra can do no wrong. War crime committer? Never heard of her. Catradora for life.
It truly is because she's a rabid spphic catgirl. Not because she's a more complex character or I can relate to her struggles more or anything. I think Catra and Jinu are equally complex (Catra gets more exploration bc five seasons vs one movie but you get it) and I relate to both characters in different ways; Catra's struggle for recognition and fear of rejection and Jinu's guilt for his self serving decisions both ring chords in my heart.
If Jinu was a sapphic demon girl love interest for Rumi? I'd be all over that. And it's not like I'd trade it for polytrix, I'd love them both. But, tbh I'd probably prefer sapphic Rujinu to polytrix just bc their onscrene romantic chemistry is so so good. The starcrossed enemies to lovers 'mama said no' dynamic? GIMME!
I am not naive to the level of hypocricy in this. I know what I am. I just really and truly don't care. And ya know why? BECAUSE NONE OF IT'S FUCKIN REAL!!! And that brings me so much joy. I love loving/hating two different (but similar) characters.
I love seeing people (respectfully) debate characters and dynamics and none of it actually matters beyond the level of "I love this thing lemme tell you what I think and you tell me what you think." It's fucking beautiful. I love being able to just dislike something and it not being like a world altering thing that has any serious outcome on reality. It's so wonderfully simple.
I am so avidly against hypocricy of any form with real issues, getting to indulge a little in the forbidden fruit of "opinion don't make sense but thats fine" is soooo freeing (see what I did there?).
That's all. Just wanted to share :)
