how did sheratober work last year? from what i’ve gathered it isn’t anyone specific who makes a prompt list for the event each year, and i was wondering if you would want to collab on a prompt list for sheratober 2025 if that is the case 🙂

Every October thus far, the SPOP fandom has run Catratober, SPOPtober and SheRatober. These are all run by different people and there are often multiple prompts lists for each.
If one of the people who usually runs Sheratober is looking for someone else to take up the torch, that's one thing, but I wouldn't feel comfortable co-opting someone else's annual event without their express permission.
I would start your journey by contacting the people who have organized these events in the past to see if a) they are planning on running it in 2025 and b) if they are looking for help or alternate prompts lists. The handle of who organized the prompts lists is usually on the prompts graphic itself or linked from the posts.
I'd love for the annual tradition to continue but not at the expense of stepping on anyone's toes!
