just wanted to say i'm a black simmer and if anyone ever has any questions about anything being offensive or appropriation etc my inbox and such are always open without judgement or anything. but i think you worded it well when you said races shouldn't be a main trait or plot device. i honestly think that a lot of times people want to make poc sims and such but fear offending so they just veer from it.

does your sim like reading? if so what’s their favourite book?

you didn’t specify which sim so i’m gonna pick for the new season 2 cast members for this! i also don’t read a lot of books tbh so i’ll just describe the type of book they’d read!

Hayden’s go to book would be a mystery with bits of romance, suspense, and action. He loves trying to figure out the answers as he’s reading, and he’s a hopeless romantic at heart.

Sierra’s favorite genre is dystopian action. Specifically, she loves to read dystopians set where the future is supposed to be “perfect” but that’s just the complete opposite. 

Rose reads a lot of classic literature due to her high studies, but her favorite books are historical romances. Extra points if its been made into a movie too so she can compare the two. 

Total guilty pleasure: smutty romances. If your grandma reads it and Fabio’s on the cover, he reads it in secret. But to everybody else, he just reads historical fictions.

Cleo Dìaz knows what she wants and will do anything to get it. Since she was a little girl, she has always adored being the center of everyone’s attention. Her parents had no problems taking photos of her whenever she wanted; they loved seeing her expressing herself at such a young age by posing in a certain way, making funny faces and smiling ear to ear.

As a teenager, she started taking part in many activities at school: show choir, cheerleading, theater... She wanted to be popular, to be praised and envied by EVERYONE. But it didn’t always happen and that made her make some questionable choices that she still regrets to this moment. To this day, she still doesn’t like to talk about it.

After graduating from high school, Cleo was found by a small modeling agency. She decided not to go to college to persue her dream: being a model was everything she ever wanted and it would lead her to wealth and fame. Cleo could already see her face in billboards around Del Sol Valley, she could already imagine what it would be like to be around celebrities.

But things didn’t go as planned. After a few years, her agency wasn’t happy with her at all: since she loved expressing herself, she started getting a lot of tattoos, piercings and... They didn’t like that. Also, they claimed she was gaining too much weight, so they just... dropped her.

Cleo didn’t want to give up, tho: she was strong and she had always worked hard to follow her dreams. This wasn’t the time to stop fighting.  After a few miserable weeks, she got back on her feet and began searching for other agencies that would be interested in her. She did find a few, but they were just as judgemental as the first one. Until... one day at a party in the Pinnacles, she was discovered by the Smucci Agency.

some facts about him

a bit of a dumby at times (especially when it comes to girls omg hes so clueless)

he is a painter! 

he doesn’t sleep that much just because he feels he could get so much more done at night

he worked at a gas station in the middle of nowhere (strangerville) until he decided to move to go to uni!

I think the most common is to resize your pics to 1000 px ��

Mine are 1280 x 720 and tumblr auto-adjusts them, but then when people click on them they see a clearer version. I don't know if that helps at all!

All of the above.... around above 1000 px

Oh, that works! Resized my images to 1000 x 666 (lol), which seems to be working and looks clear enough. Which is a 3:2 aspect ratio, I guess? Still don’t fully get it even after talking to my dad who knows more about photography than I do - but if it works, it works.

i don't even resize mine at all whoops.

That’s valid :D Editing images is kind of a pain, though I’m guessing it’ll be a bit easier once I know how I’m actually supposed to do it.
