biggest thing is that police Spot is a heavy-as-shit machine. if they controlled it to get on top of someone, there's no doubt that it could seriously injure them. Especially with all the moving joints and parts that can amputate fingers of people just trying to get the drone off of them

You might be right, but it still seems like a really weird, untested way to use them. The Police is uh, kinda dumb for trying to use it that way.
