My two eternal loves combined
Before we start, I want to clarify that I love vintage (and it was mentioned in my bio). Everything related to Windows 98, 2000, XP, Vista and 7 I love it. And today, I still love many things that to this day are at the top of my pure classic fanaticism.
It's funny to see my wallpaper a bit with something classic in the middle.
First you have a "WinMac" wallpaper, then in the middle a weird but wonderful little combination.
Something happens here.
A conversation between Colato Films and me caused a little discomfort inside me. "Will I be able to combine Spotify and Winamp so that I can listen to the best of my playlist with the classic interface?"
And so, if you can.
It turns out that years ago there was a little program called "Spotiamp" and I promise you that I had never heard of it (because in those years I was still using the famous .mp3 files and I didn't use streaming platforms because it was rare to see something like that). This software took it upon itself to combine the best of both worlds today, especially if you're a computer geek who loves the old with the new.
That is why I decided to venture into this program and give it a go. I installed this program and it scared me a bit, because as soon as I opened this, I got a tab asking for my credentials.
I entered them and said to myself "what can I lose with this?".
I logged in, verified credentials, and the adventure began. And now, I can't stop listening to my favorite songs with classic Winamp.
I promise you that this post is not an advertisement or anything like that, it's just that I find it interesting and wonderful to see that vintage is still alive with the most up-to-date technology.
Post update [04/07/2022 @ 21:10 GMT -4]: I have installed Spotiamp on my personal notebook and it still looks amazing, especially with the same background as my Tumblr. This is fucking amazing!
