@spousematerial​  It’s ok I wouldn’t hate you just for asking lol! It’s the nonstop (unfounded, insulting, ridiculous) bashing on the ship that rubs me the wrong way.

Ah, I see where you come from. Is it because I ship Co/Ai? I’m not sure from which fandom you know me but I’ve been very Ichihime supportive for many years (altho I know it’s hard to say, since I’m physically unable to write or draw any related material for what I call my biggest OTP. See, for me, they are too hard to portray and I’m afraid to touch them in fear that I would ruin them. They are just too perfect, man.). It’s the same as when people assume that NaruHin/a shippers = Ichihime shippers, which isn’t always true (many people have been very vocal about their irritation towards this misconception). Me, personally, I ship Ichihime AND Naruhin/a (both underdogs winded up being canon against all odds. JACKPOT.), so if anything I think people should assume I ship ShinRa/n due to the whole “shy sweet girl x main guy” trend (whICH I DID, at the beginning of the series before Shiho came along and I stood no chance against such a perfect character). 

There are many reasons why I ship these pairing, each kind of different and each kind of the same (I don’t want to go into too much detail and end up writing yet another meta on my ships but if you are interested just ask away lol), but to me they do follow a same pattern and I’m a sucker for those tropes so??

Also, why I don’t ship Ichiruk//? Because neither of them, never, ever ever ever showed the sightless hint of romantic feelings towards each other. Not even one-sided. Had it been one sided, I would have bought it because (no surprise here) I’m a sucker for unrequited love.  But they never. liked. each other. that . way. 

Meanwhile you have all that ichihime and renruki romance blasted at your face with the force of fifty tons of dynamite throughout the series and people choose to ??? overlook ??? like??? how??? can you be ???? that ???? oblivious ????

I'm watching bnha and I am so with you on the katsu/deku relationship. It's not very comfortable for me. I just couldn't see if happening cause of how nervous and scared deku seems around him. So you are not alone on that!
