Day 3 for the lovely FEEEESH.
What do I need to focus on?
What is stopping me from focusing?
How can I focus more?
I'm using my Pathfinder's deck for this one.
This deck and I get along kinda so-so. Let's see how this goes.
And I was shuffling the deck and I randomly had the Squirrel fall out of the deck. This may be what represents you.
Squirrel
We all know the squirrel for being rather zany and energetic, almost ADHD tendencies, but one thing we don't typically associate it with is it's persistence and attention to detail. The squirrel is a precise creature that has to pay attention to all things, it's energy being what helps keep it alive. Give it enough time and it'll solve most puzzles (you know how they get with certain birdfeeders).
You are aware of things, but you might also pay just too much attention as well.
What do I need to focus on?
I found the Scarab in reply to this.
The scarab is well known to most of due to The Mummy series and it being associated with life and death (mostly death, though, as it tended to be rather.. ravenous).
However, most actual legends surrounding this creature are that of life. They are the dung beetles. One may see this as rather gross, but they're the subject of an interesting (in my opinion) belief. Believed to spontaneously generate due to the parent scarab(s) rolling dung and taking it to where their young hide, they are seen as as symbols of renewal and defiance of death as the young feed on the nutrients within it and then emerge as adults.
With this card and the question at hand on what to focus on, it seems that there might be something that needs to be let go. It's time to focus on the future and renewing yourself.
What is stopping me from focusing?
The Okapi was drawn for this question.
The okapi is associated with quiet, silence, and resistance to action. You've been restraining yourself, staying quiet... Sitting in the back of the room while acting like you know none of the answers in class, I suppose. You need to break away from this, raise your hand and answer questions. Don't let others have the limelight, let yourself have some of it as well.
As I would tell my younger self, put down a book for a few minutes and talk to your classmates - it doesn't have to be for very long.. The book will still be there, and you'll grow for it.
How can I focus more?
Somehow I drew the Panda for this.
Both of these creatures, the "traditional" panda with the black and white, and the red panda, have masks. While that is part of their charm, it also shows that we have false faces we wear (I had a terrible habit of this in high school, or so I might have deluded myself).
Part of the issue you may have is that these last three creatures, the okapi and both pandas, have some semblance of masks. While the pandas wear their masks on their faces, the okapi wears it on their legs, the stripes they have that resemble zebra stripes.
The way you can focus more is by being yourself, I guess. As cliche as it sounds. Don't hide in the shadows. Don't hide your face. Go ahead and just do.
... If that makes any sense.
I swear I'll upload pictures at some point for you.
