You know, #countrypride was hard for me! I almost exclusively read in English, but I really loved "100 uur nacht" by Anna Woltz. It is about a Dutch girl who gets caught in the New York blackout after a hurricane. . I also love old Dutch classics (not featured because my mom has them at her home) such as "Zomerzotheid" and "Joop ter Heul" by Cissy van Marxveldt, both pre-WO II books. . And when I went through my old children's books I realised that OMG ALL OF THEM are by Dutch authors! It really saved my sense of country pride. I featured a few of my absolute #favourites in the photo. .
