I have owed the wonderful @somethingwendythiswaycomes an SDS for a week now but it's been one hell of a week and I haven't been able to focus on much of anything that wasn't related to my house.

For those of you who remember. I finally bought myself a house 6 months ago. And, even more likely, some of you may remember me posting about the bitter cold that we had about 10 days ago. So, last Saturday I headed downstairs to work out and as I stepped off the last stair I splashed water all over the place.

My whole basement was flooded.

The fucking pipes in my second bathroom burst and flooded everything.

It's been a pain the the ass and I'm so sad that my beautiful new home is messed up. While I called for a plumber right away they told me they couldn't make it until Wednesday because they were so backed up from all the people having similar problems. Even with insurance this is going to hurt me financially too. To prevent mold they've cut holes in my walls & torn up my pretty floor. Bookcases are soggy, as is the bar. All my workout equipment is just piled up and I have to keep reminding all the random people traipsing in here to show it some damn respect.

I am not happy. Not one bit. But I did smile here because the picture was just too ugly to post when I didn't.
