Spring Rose || PanMorri

From her place leaning against the wall, arms crossed beneath her bust, the deity wets already lacquered lips as she watches Pan tend to his plants.
“Blushing doesn’t become me.”
No other excuse, flimsy or otherwise, is offered to answer away the color at her cheeks when she’s discovered watching the God go about his task. Instead, she shifts her hips in a motion to make herself more comfortable, eyes following the lines of his back as he bends to inspect each petal and leaf. It’s obvious how they respond to his attention; perking, rustling.
“It’s almost your season of spring, is it not, my love?”
“On the contrary, my dear...”
As Pan drifts from plant to plant, stroking leaves, stems, vines, he takes a quick glance over at Morrigan. Never in their shared history has she ever looked anything less than entirely captivating, compelling him toward her like she was the dark hole at the center of his universe. It was exhilarating.
“...I think it suits you perfectly. You look best in red.”
He pulls a rose from a bucket where they lay loose in water, red like blood, and stalks over to the goddess, holding it out to her.
“Spring. It’s coming, yes. I can feel it.”
More. He’s looking forward to it.
~ Sultan Suleiman poetry to his "Spring Rose" ~
"The sun will not rise again from the sorrow of two lovers, While you're there,before anyone should ask mercy Padishah? Muhibi conquered love this dark haired beauty, And her lovely rosy cheeks drive crazy any mortal!"
"Play oh Mahidevran like the celestial harp, Oh, Gulbahar,one that is similiar to the dome of heaven... Oh, the one whose divine beauty makes my heart beat, Play me, oh rose, as we are content with an all-consuming love And do not Muhibi move, to lean beside his beloved..."
