Maggie was having the best time ever since she got to Lake Magnolia. It was a sunny day, perfect for outdoor sports and a night bonfire with friends. Both her dogs and her family had joined along mostly because they wanted to keep an eye on her but also for all the fun activities they had planned. After settling down on a free spot near the shore and each one scattering to do their own thing, Maggie decided to go for a swim. She loved lake Magnolia; she enjoyed joking that it had been named after her and also because water just made her feel free. As she swam back to the shore and started to walk through the beach back to her family’s little campsite she saw someone doing something rather interesting and funny but that could also turn into something dangerous very fast. “Oh my god, wh-what are you doing? N-No, you need to stop! You could hurt yourself, and possibly others!”

“That’s...what, the fourth marshmallow you’ve burnt within the span of a minute?” Freya interjected from beside the other. With a tut and a shake of her head, the girl shifted closer in their direction. “The trick is to not stick it directly into the flame.” She nodded her head to the marshmallow she held above the embers scattered over the ground as a demonstration, twisting and turning it every so often. Only a few moments more and her methods had produced a perfectly toasted marshmallow, which she held out to her companion as an offering, “Here. Try it.” / @shstarters​

Ellie had been in the lake when she spotted him. She didn’t know if he would be there, but the fact that he was, gave her mixed emotions. With what she had heard Beth say that he told her, that fueled some type of fire in her and her anger growing back up. Getting out of the lake, not that she was going to stay in long. She had too much to drink and she wasn’t the best of swimmers. She had only gone in there to cool off from being beneath the sun for most of the day. Wringing the water out of her hair, not bothering to grab a towel, she headed towards where Sam was. Beads of water was sliding down her exposed skin, the light breeze wasn’t bothering her, even though her skin erupted in goosebumps. “Hey, jackass. So.. guess what?” She asked, slurring some of her words. She hadn’t stopped drinking since she got there and she was surprised she was still able to walk. “I heard some very interesting news from Beth. Two things that are funny there... I had to find out from her, and... AND! Beth was told first.” @samcaine​

Isabella had been having an okay time at the bonfire, but she decided she wanted to enjoy the scenery a bit more. She made her way to the lake, spending a little alone time in the water as she looked up at the amount of stars. Living in the city her whole life she never got to see many stars, so the amount here were astounding. She jumped slightly when she noticed someone else. “Shit... Give a girl some warning, will ya?”

Daejung’s journey was already eventful enough and he was just halfway through it yet. The mushroom’s effect had already died down, and honestly... he wasn’t looking forward to try that again before the actual bonfire time. He was walking around, trying to get back to where his friends where. Another ‘getting lost’ in the woods moments wouldn’t be cool right now given he was alone and it was almost dusk so he didn’t wanna risk it. He was concentrated trying to remember the right way back to the campsite, till he spotted a familiar face that made him stop and turn. He smiled to himself. “Hey! I didn’t expect to see you here”, he said, loud enough to capture his attention as he approached him. “I see you have a new friend”, he pointed out at the disposable camera he was holding. “And I also see... you are keeping your old friend with you”, he joked, pointing now at the London keychain hanging from his backpack. Another grin formed on his lips at the notice. “Captured any good moments yet?” // @kngminjae​

"Nobody told it was that kind of bonfire," Nick said, brows furrowed in amusement as he stared at a group of teen girls throwing what seemed to be photos into the bonfire. He had heard of people doing stuff like this to move on, or rather he'd seen it on TV and movies but never witnessed it nor anyone confirmed the myth, at least until now.  Being the skeptic that he was, he really didn't believe burning your ex's photos could be of any help, but to each their own. "If I had known I would have brought my stack of photos and letters," he added in an equally amused yet sarcastic tone, before taking a sip from his beer. || @shstarters​

the last thing charlotte wanted was the issues between sam and ellie to dampen her mood. she could easily tell how negatively this was all impacting ellie, and even though she would always chose family first ellie was her family too. being stuck in an awkward situation, charlotte needed to have the two of them sort things out. it was even worse knowing exactly why sam was acting in that way, but it was not her thing to say. despite trying to convince him to say something to ellie, he was adamant not to. but now he had taken it too far, and she needed him to fix the mess he created. she spotted him next to a fire and quickly made her way towards him, pulling him to the side so that no one would overhear them. “samuel caine junior, i am very upset with you,” she told him, crossing her arms over her chest as she looked up at him with raised eyebrows.

Jacob sat on a log near the fire watching the flames dance with one another when he saw someone sit down near him out of the corner of his eye. He looked up and saw Kiara. She looked absolutely gorgeous in her bathing suit. Keep it cool, Jacob. He told himself. He scooted slightly closer to her and cleared his throat a bit. “Hey, Kiara!” He said, a small grin on his face. “I like your suit-your swimsuit.” He said, fumbling over his words a bit.
