Springseed 2.0

We're happy to announce Springseed 2.0 for Linux

Springseed 2.0's feature set isn't huge since we've been busy with life, as well as porting code to use atom-shell, but we hope to try and release releases faster (and hopefully no huge changes from here on until 3.0)

Springseed 2.1 is expected soonish with more of your requested features and we're really wanting to push a OS X and a Windows version soon.Stay tuned, it's going to be a long ride.

If you want to help our or just simply say hi, our IRC channel is #springseed on irc.freenode.net, but remember to also bring cookies, that's always a great thing to have happen.

2014 Week 22: Sprinting to 2.0

As Springseed 2.0 is drawing nearer the team is trying their best to make sure it is released as quickly as possible and to the highest standard.

Springseed 1.1 was a disaster. For the most part, the app refused to load leaving our users with a window that doesn't quite work the way they expected. This had caused us many problems, and it has caused many people to be a bit annoyed. Because of this we've decided to release a beta this time around to make sure if there's a problem, we can fix it before release.

If you're not spying on us you won't know that we're planning to go to a more rapid release cycle, meaning more is done in a release cycle than before. What this means is that Springseed's releases will get faster, resembling something much like Firefox or Chrome. We're doing this because we now have a team of developers who are willing to get stuck in and help the best they can to make Springseed better.

We've not included much in terms of physical features this week, but here's something to make you slightly excited. Can you guess what it is?
