My First Animated GIF

This is my first animation, a gif of my Character Amelia Springwire walking. I made it in December of 2020, and I believe it took a week or two. It is made up of 8 different frames and loops after a second when she blinks.

I had previous experience with walk cycles through making sprite sheets for my characters to work with RPG Maker XP, and an Animation book made by a cartoonist. As a result, my artstyle at the time was designed originally for compatibility with the program, so I made it to be shrunk while keeping the important details. My current artstyle has some remnants of this as I developed it over the years.

As of now, I'm working on a new animation gif, which I made a rough gif of below with the key frames I sketched up I'm an hour.

Finished Animation!

Finished up my animation of Amelia Springwire! It was long and difficult, but I'm proud of what I made. It took me nearly three weeks working alone outside of work to finish it.

Edit: I swapped out the animation to a fully finished version.

I'll include the previous work in progress versions, from the last before it was done to the first so you can all see how I ent about making it.

Updated Springwire!

Here's some updated pictures! The Springwire Sisters and some interesting mechanical marvels! I sold some sticker sheets with these characters at the last WWW Con, it was fun, but my best seller was a bunch of Gremlins I made by hand! Little pipecleaner guys! I hope you like! :p
