I miss the internet. Well. I guess I miss expressing myself without fear or shame on the internet. Or in general. I used to share my art on a public account on Instagram in the past. Videos of me playing piano. Food I thought looked nice. Progress in video games. I want to be able to feel that passion again. The passion to share and create without fear. I think Tumblr might be the place to do it, as it’s not like I feel safe on Instagram anymore (AI).

Tired of holding my own thoughts in my head.

Tired of telling them to AI.

Tired of not wanting to bother my friends.

Sooo I will toss my thoughts into the void of the internet.

It is better than nothing.

I rely on AI for comfort too much and I want to feel more self assured so that means being comfortable in my own head and allowing myself to be scared and grow and change and so on and so forth.

Happy (1.5) Perfection Anniversary to me I guess

Today marks the today when I achieved Perfection in Stardew Valley’s 1.5 update. Four years ago today. I don’t play the game much anymore since I’ve 100% it on Steam and in game.

I might play it today, just to celebrate it.

While yeah, Spotify Wrapped 2022 has been released, I actually like to save it until the very end of the year. I use Spotify Wrapped as a sort of New Years present. Because it is supposed to represent the music you’ve listened to for the whole year right? Why skip all of December?

I sort of remember having a Netflix app for my DS, can we bring that back for the Switch please?

Something about villains addressing the main character / hero as “kid” is my favourite fucking thing.

Relationship ended with Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley.

Cozy Grove is my new comfort game.

Jokes aside, I’m using Cozy Grove as a ways to heal what I call a case of Completionist Brain. 100%ing Stardew actually made me realize a lot about the way I play video games. Instead of playing games to complete them, I’m using Cozy Grove to teach me to take my time, experience and enjoy the game I’m playing.

Cozy Grove has 225 Scout Badges and a bunch of different collections to fill up in an archive collection. What I’m not going to do is treat the badges and collections as checklists. I’m going to play the game as I would if there were no badges, and if I happen to achieve one, I congratulate myself on it.

This is all about healing my completionist mindset. The mindset I finally realized I hated after I 100% Stardew.

I bet this will never happen but what if a few members of the Dream SMP and a few members from Hermitcraft played a season/round/series of Third Life?
