I'm a trans guy, and I use he/it pronouns.
I write fanfics on ao3, and sometimes draw. I'm not the greatest at digital art, but I'm slowly learning, so I might post some stuff on here occasionally.
Current interests: TADC, Metal Family, horses, gardening, cooking, Stranger Things, ATLA, The Promised Neverland, writing, TDLoSK, my pets, etc

hi guys i know i havent been active here at all but theres this super cool website called sprout (soon app) that has a BUNCH of profile customization and it allows no ai and there is no scrolling algorithm! its designed for real human interaction, i know it can be a little overwhelming with all of the features when you first join but i promise its so fun when you get the hang of it!! the developers even host movie nights sometimes :) heres a list of popular and/or sprouts most unique features:
-sprout is supported on most platforms and versions, they go as low as ios 16.4, and you can access sprout through their website on desktop, and it allows for android and ios access
- because theres no curated feed or algorithm, everyone sees the same feed at the same time.
- not only does it have no ai, but theres no ads. sprout relies entirely on its community to donate to keep the place running (and its working!!}
- sprout is still in beta and they have a TON of new features coming, but one thing they said was that theyre going to have the sprout mascot to be sold as keychains in plushie form (wobble and pothead) in the near future
- along with the everyone feed that people all see simultaneously, you can create smaller separate feeds yourself, with no hassle or admin approval. this feature is called roots, and it allows for easy fandom access! you can also see whos in each root, so you find friends with your interests easier. and dont worry this doesnt clutter your feeds with each root interest, all of your roots are in one root feed on the homepage, and if you click on a root you can view what all the posts have been in that specific root, separate from the tabs at the top.
- similar to roots, theres a feature where you can add artists you listen to! it will match you with other users who have the same artists and genres as you, and it helps you find new friends!
- arguably the most beloved feature is custom profiles. you can organize your widgets however you want, add any images you feel that fit your preferred pallet, or even add external links as well, one of the interactive ones includes spotify scrobbles
-to go with profile customization, theres a bunch of cool features such as scratchboards (drawing on your friends profile) sending them anonymous messages (dw they arent anonymous to the developers) or posting notes or images on someones bulletins! you can also make a profile list and add up to 10 other profiles in it to show off your friends!
- sprout cares about their users VERY much. they take reports seriously, and remove any posts that involve bigotry (including zionism and far right ideology), violence, pornographic images or ai.
- sprout also cares to protect its minors as well. theres a separate feed for adults only, and all users are encouraged to set their age so you can filter our what ages you see in your feeds too, such as hiding any users that are under 15, 18 etc (whatever range you set it at)
im going to attach some images so you guys can see what the app is like! the sprout account also has a testflight link for beta apple users if you wanna try that out, although they are trying to move to the appstore/playstore soon so it may expire if you are reading this late

you can add the website to your homescreen too so you get notifications and itll function just like an app, just hit “add to homescreen”
So I may have gone a bit wild on sprout.spot, I just love how I can customize everything and spend hours designing something that reflect me and shows off my creative side. It also helps that I can toggle music and set up a music playlist in app that can be listened to even when you close it. Let’s not forget the badges as well, I love seeing how diverse and vast the lgbtqia+ community is on sprout.spot!
