Clay & John Dory Brotherly Relationship Headcanons
So I would personally like to deep a little deeper into clay and John Dory relationship with each other I know Clay is John Dory number one biggest hater and he still hold grudges against John Dory but I wanted to do some headcanon that shows their relationship before the Brozone Band Broke up n Stuff….

-When clay was little he likes to follow John Dory around just like Floyd and branch would do when they were younger
-Clay would cry when he doesn’t see John Dory around and when John hears that cries he has to rush back and hold onto clay
-every night John Dory would sing twinkle twinkle little star to Clay which annoys the heck out of Bruce
-When John Dory stop singing Clay would cry non stop until John sings again usually it takes and hours to get Clay to sleep he’s a hyper kid
-Clay sometime sleeps w John Dory especially when is raining and stormy
-Just like branch and Floyd when they were babies Clay loves to hide in John Dory hair he even hide there for hours and he will not get out of his hair
-Clay drew a picture of him and John Dory which John kept through this day when the band broke up John would constantly look at the drawing that baby clay made for him :(
-Clay loves Bruce to but he definitely loves John Dory the most
-When Brozone became a band Clay relationship with John Dory drifted a little
-When Floyd was born clay spends hours lock in his room crying cuz John Dory doesn’t love him no more and he would tell baby Floyd that John Dory was his and he dose the same thing to branch aswell
-Clay loves it when John Dory tells embarrassing stories about Bruce it makes him happy and giggles
-During Brozone band days Clay was in charge of the choreography (Most of it) he was a great dancer
-As John Dory became even more bossy Clay started to have different feelings about him but he push through it cuz he didn’t want to ruin the relationship with him and John
-Clay would push himself to make John Dory like him even better since John Dory keeps yelling at him
“CLAY YOUR NOT DOING THE ROBOTS MOVES RIGHT!”
“I NEED TO SEE FUN BOY CLAY!”
-despite his highly demands Clay work his ass off so John Dory would like him
-Clay would often try to be serious but John Dory wouldn’t let him John push him to be the fun boy of the band
-Clay almost cried in front of John Dory when he slap the books off clay hands during their breaks…
“Clay, how many time do I have to tell you reading is for no fun people! Now get up and practice those robots moves.” John say as the other saw Clay wanted to cry but suck it back it as Floyd picked up clay book and gave it to him
-Clay slam the book in front of Floyd yelling at him making Floyd shed a tear 😢
“FLOYD STOP IT JOHN DORY WAS RIGHT READING IS FOR BORING PEOPLE I’M FUN BOY CLAY!”
As Floyd ran to Bruce crying on his chest Clay felt bad for screaming at Floyd he knew that Floyd likes it when clay reads to him and branch but John Dory wouldn’t allowed it at all….
-Bruce and John Dory fought through out the bands days even before they performed and Clay would be on John Dory side at all cause but Clay still Kept getting yelled at by John Dory
-The others brother became worried about Clay cuz he’s is attach to John Dory
-Many’s years laters as John Dory promised the fans a perfect family harmony as Clay and John Dory relationship gets a bit more worse and toxic as clay became older he was kinda sick of his older brother BS
Moving forward……
-When the perfect family harmony failed they came back to the pod Bruce and John was yelling at each other Clay would stick up for John Dory but this time table has turn
-Clay express his anger towards John after all those years and he was blinded the fact that John used him just to gain frame like Clay has been his number one supporter since he came into this world
-As John left Clay became sad and furious so he and Bruce decided to leave together Clay wanted to give John one last hug but couldn’t because he was so angry at John
-before Spruce change his name he gave Clay a hug and wishing him the best and before he was known as Bruce he told clay this…
“I wish I could have save you from John Dory but I couldn’t because John Dory had you tied up as his little puppet.” He said breaking the hugs and left clay wish he could see the truth he knew that John Dory attitude change when Brozone became a band
-when the trolls attempt to escape the Bergans Clay tried to find branch,Floyd and grandma he didn’t think or thought of John Dory at all he did think of Bruce but he knew Bruce was away away into a new world as Clay was helping others trolls escape the tunnel collapse causing him and others trolls to be trapped
-He and viva became co owners of the mini golf and they are known as putt putt trolls
-Clay would pray that his other brother and grandma is somewhere safe he wish he could have look for them but it was too late as he looked up at the moons and stars he thought of John Dory
-How John Dory use to sing twinkle twinkle little star to him every night when he was younger Bruce would be annoyed by it Clay sat alone and began to sing he couldn’t sing he would choke on every words as he cry to himself he missed John Dory but he also hated him as much as the other brothers did 😭
-Clay still had drawing that he made for John Dory but never gotten a chance to give him it
-Clay dug through his old drawings and pictures of him and John he burned it as much as he didn’t want to burn it he had too he would cross or cut out John Dory face
-After all these 20+ years he joined the sad book club for the first time he was free from John Dory control and he was taken seriously and he was a Licensed CPA although he was free but he miss the old John Dory he wished John Dory never started the band then things would have been different
-As Clay sat by himself every night talking to the moon as if it was John Dory so basically talking to himself as if John Dory was there with him clay would continue to cry but he would never admit that he miss John Dory not until after trolls band together….
~Trolls band Together~
-As Clay saw Bruce,Branch and John Dory he wanted to cry and hug John but on the other hand he gave John the cold shoulder despite him missing John Dory ever single day
-On their way to save Floyd Clay and John was mostly fighting they never fought when they were younger it was always Bruce and John that fought but now it was clay and John
-As John Dory was being bossy again Clay told him off but when branch and poppy walked out on them he felt bad but at the same time he knew it was John fault for causing this mess
-Clay can feel his heart hurting
-As Clay looked around he stop his tracked he saw that John Dory still indeed has his drawing that he made when he was younger Clay shed a quick tears and wipe them off
-Nearly losing Floyd Clay hugged Floyd tightly John also hugged both Clay and Floyd Clay wanted to slap his hands off but couldn’t Clay miss John Dory hugs
~After trolls bands together~
-All the brothers have grudges against John Dory so they all say in a circle sharing how they felt but Clay was super quiet
-As Clay and John Dory sat face to face Clay didn’t look at John Dory as the other brother watched along with viva and poppy
-it was complete silent for 2 hours until John Dory pulled out a special drawing that Clay made for him when he came back to the trees before the escape of the bergans as Clay saw that drawing he wanted to cry and did eventually
“I came back to the tree I couldn’t find any of you I assume that you guys were eaten or somewhere safe when I came back into our room I found this drawing and note that you left it means a lot to me I never knew that you really loved me I’m sorry I took advantage of you and the others but mostly you I miss you everyday wishing you were safe and alive and hope we could see each other again until now, You may have the right to be angry with me and the things I did but I do ask for your forgiveness and hope we can start over.” John said
-Clay just sat there crying until there’s no tears left to cry as Clay gave John Dory a hug out of all of the brothers beside Floyd Clay would be the one to hug John as he sob “I miss you so much I would always talk to the moon wishing I was talking to you.” Clay said as they both hugged and cried for another good hour even poppy and viva was crying….
-Although Clay and John left in good terms but the other part of clay will not forget or forgive what John did to him and the others brothers
-Clay would still be John Dory Number one hater and will always be 🫶🏻
-Clay and John Dory relationship now prior to after trolls band together is a Love Hate relationship they do hangout together just them two from time to time
-Clay would get upset or angry at John when John try to makes things perfect cause he knows John Dory is a perfectionist and would try to stop his habits and would also tell John Dory that not everything has to be perfect…..

Also, I really love Clay and John Dory brotherly relationship I really hope there’s a trolls short or in the future movies they focus on clay and John Dory relationship aswell with the others brothers I do believe Clay and John relationship is both a love hate relationship as if now….
