Eddie smiled lazily and curled up on his friend’s bed. It had been awhile since he slept at their’s place, but he had run out of couches to surf and was back. “I really hate being a bother, but your bed is for sure one of the most comfy!” He laughed easily and shrugged. “Plus if I’m spending the night we can have way more fun. We could play a game or something!” He beamed easily and shrugged.

After their paycheck was deposited safely in the bank, Zane all but practically ran home to the small apartment they shared with their boyfriend, bouncing through the door like a ball of energy. "Hey are you packed yet?" They called out to Dominic as they grabbed a water from the fridge before they made their way to the room.

"Boss couldn't believe that I was asking for three days off. I think he thinks a pod person is inhabiting my body or something," Zane laughed and sat on the edge of the bed. "Don't let me forget my pillow - or my hair dryer. I did that last time and I was going insane."

They were excited though about the trip to go see Breeze, someone who Zane had never pictured themselves getting involved with. Then again they never thought they’d be in a relationship like they had either but it was nice and most of all boundaries were respected. “I can’t wait to see her, can you?”

It had been a good day for Alaina. She was slowly getting acclimated to her new career with Five-O and was quickly becoming one of the team members. It was great, and they were always good with trying to make her understand their little jokes, but now she felt like she could keep up. It only got worse when Jerry managed to fool around in the database, after seeing one of the medical examiners go through a grueling situation with her now ex-husband, who happened to be part of a drug cartel. This prompted Jerry to search up everyone’s partners, something that usually wasn’t allowed, but it was a slow day at HQ anyway. 

That was when they found it. Searching for Lauren Flint, Alaina walked into her office with a shake of her head, knowing it was all in good fun and resorted to finishing up her paperwork. Lauren and her had been dating for almost a year, and things have been going pretty well between them. She finished up signing one more report when a folder was placed in front of her by an apprehensive Jerry. “You might want to see this...” 

Now here she was, attempting to sit through dinner with her girlfriend, rolling her potatoes around on her plate, only eating about half of it. When her girlfriend asked about her day, Alaina was trying her best to muster up a good story. “Umm..it was..good. Slow, but good.” She answered shakily, taking a sip of her water.

It was rare when she had a moment that wasn’t spent with another serpent close by, not that she normally minded it after all she considered them her family;but even family can get on your nerves from time to time. 

Upon receiving the other’s text she breathed a sigh of relief. “I’ll be back later.” She says to the a loud to the group before grabbing her keys from the counter, ignoring their questions of where she was headed. Their home had become a welcomed escape from the chaos over the last few weeks, but it was obvious the others were catching on and their relationship wouldn’t be much of a secret for long.

Since she was a child, Bonnie had learnt to fear the woods ━ and most places really. Her experiences of waking up alone in the woods, with no memory of how she got there were a bit too terrifying. She'd rather not think of the other memories, the ones with moving shadows and voices. ❛ Not even a little bit? ❜ her big brown eyes peered up at the taller.

 Despite her fear, Bonnie knew the forest wouldn't willingly hurt her, her grandmother used to tell her that nature was a witch's best friend. Even so, the younger moved a little closer to her friend. ❛ I mean, it's really pretty and relaxing but...❜ she paused, biting her lip. ❛ Doesn't it get...lonely? ❜

Lizabet worked so hard for her students and she was immensely proud of all of them. Seeing their faces light up after they finished a piece and didn't mess up brought her joy beyond what words would allow her to say. Now things had settled down and she was trying to spend more time enjoying herself without a full roster of children on her schedule.

She'd said goodbye to her last student several hours ago and was now curled up on the couch with her friend - someone she was insanely attracted to but never made the move to do anything with, her head resting on their chest as they watched a movie together. "So, I was thinking about maybe taking a weekend and going to a bed and breakfast somewhere. Maybe I could even squeeze a week in. Sound like something you would be interested in? I mean, if you can get the time off work of course. I just thought it would be fun to do something fun and visit somewhere different. Just you and me with my mind not on what arrangement I’m going to make the kids learn next."
