En una nueva colaboración entre juegos y cine, Epic Games ChAIR (Infinity Blade, Shadow Complex) y J.J. Abrams (Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Misión Imposible) han anunciado Spyjinx para PC y móviles.

Spyjink correrá en Unreal Engine 4 y promete  una  combinación  única  de  acción, mundo dinámico y desarrollo  de  carácter  RPG,  ambientado  en  un  emocionante  y  traicionero  mundo  de  espionaje.

El lanzamiento de Spyjinx se estima para 2016, y ya está reclutando jugadores para una beta cerrada.

There’s a new family game on the horizon, called Spyjinx, and it’s being developed by J.J. Abrams’ studio Bad Robot in collaboration with Chair, a subsidiary of Epic Games. Chair games include Infinity Blade and Shadow Complex.

Geoff Keighley interviewed Abrams and Donald Mustard of Chair about their collaboration. Abrams acknowledged that past video game/movie collaborations haven’t been universally successful. But Abrams and Mustard believe they can provide tools to make gamers stay engaged. They didn’t give many details about Spyjinx, except to say that it involves action, strategy, world-building, and role-playing elements.
