omg, I love that! The lyric "she loves to get her ass in any danger" made me cackle!

I do have several spyverse playlists! There's the Part I playlist, which is over 100 songs. They used to be in some semblance of an order to follow the story, but I definitely just started tacking new songs I found to the end. I'd like to go through it and curate/shorten it a bit, but it's long enough to make a really good writing playlist in its current state.

I also have one for ridoc's side story and it's really short, but I love it. It's giving friends-to-lovers and professional loverboy Ridoc. It might be my favorite right now.

aaaand here's the bare bones playlist for Part II that I've really just started... on my long distance lovers bullshit.

spyverse part ii spoiler week: day five

day five, and with it comes a speak peak at assessment day!

are you guys getting excited or what because I AM

"I fucking hate assessment day," I complain as I walk to stand in between Rhiannon and Nadine at the edge of our squad's mat in the sparring gym.

"At least you made a friend last year," Rhiannon teases lightly, gesturing towards Imogen across the mat. "All it took was fucking up your shoulder."

My eyes land on Sloane, who treats me to a glare that I'd find impressive under any other circumstance. "Well, let's hope lightning strikes twice."

Rhiannon and Nadine snort at the joke, and I can't stop myself from leaning in to a brief reprieve from being miserable.

"Hey, Ivan," I add in quiet voice with just a hint of dramatics. He stops whispering with Ridoc to turn around and look at me. "Make sure you're ready in case Imogen feels like bonding again."

'You are not amusing,' Tairn accuses across the bond.

A wide grin stretches across his freckled features, and the rest of my friends try to stop their laughter. "F-feel free not to give me so much practice."

"But you're my favorite mender!" I call back slightly louder, and we all fight to muffle our giggles this time.

Tairn chuffs at the double-edged slight against Brennan. I'm pretty sure he hates him on his mate's behalf, because I once saw Sgaeyl hiss on sight at Brennan's face alone. Before he even opened his mouth. I wonder what my brother could have done to piss off the vicious blue dragon, but it's likely better for our relationship that I don't know. There is only one human Sgaeyl would hold a grudge for, and I'm in love with him.

'You are perhaps a little amusing,' Tairn amends.
