Hawk at my pond! I think it's a cooper's hawk. I wish the trigger time on these cameras weren't so bad so I could've seen the landing.

Gray fox checking out the area in the snow. This is probably the first video I have that gives a really good look at their face?
I got a new camera that moves. Here is a deer checking it out.
I've had a lot of activity over winter actually, but most of it has been deer so I haven't bothered updating tumblr. Also it seems like I always experience problems trying to send video posts here too so it's kind of a pain in the ass. edit: How this post, that specifically says "pain in the ass" doesn't need a content label, but the other one, that is 100% safe for all ages and includes the same video, does, is beyond me. I get the hate about the needing potential review thing now.
Raccoon checking out the pond flash at the beginning
Opossum walking by my pond on xmas eve, 2025.
The video isn't very clear, but there's 2 foxes here. During a wintry mix, the first one is on the right side of the screen kind of pacing. It then goes behind the shed and peeks out on either side occasionally for the rest of the video.
At 0:11, the 2nd fox comes in from the woods on the far left and walks toward the shed, behind the pond.
You can really only see the reflections from their eyes.
December 2025.
0:00 fox jumps out from front left. Circles around the backside of the pond and comes out on the right side of it at 0:14. December 2025.
Gray fox in february 2026. Just this morning in the snow.
