I feel extremely lucky to have gotten my hands on a Merry Doll Round Tsubaki head. I really adore that artist's work.

I did have a body prepared but it turned out too small. Next I'm trying her on this SQ Labs 61cm. It seems way too big in person but kinda looking ok in photos with this lens?

I'm not fully sold. Will have to ruminate on it for a while.

(Not to mention the Supia Roda head that was on this body is now floating ... and it had matched way better ...)

i wish dollfie dreams werent vinyl. honestly i see no point in it and it just makes it difficult to put them on anything other than a dollfie body. for my first anime style doll ive been thinking of getting a dollfie head but now im leaning towards SQlabs

Yes hello reporting from limbo with a quick comparison

I figured it could be helpful for anyone trying to hybrid tall-ish yosd. There you have the 30 SQlab body, the 29cm dollzone (starring mismatched Yo-Carter head), and 5StarDoll 30cm body (starring a heavily modded DZ Choco), Soom Afi and DBDoll Adai in for size purposes. 

They’re very similar in height, but vary a lot when it comes to arm lenght and shoulder width

Out of the three, the posing that earned my heart is no doubt the Dollzone new body. It flows so nicely! The SQlab poses pretty damn nice as well. And I have my qualms with the 5star body, mostly because the string channels on the double joint peanuts are too short to accomodate the movement range it could have -_- Oh well.
