Naked steel has never looked this good. Perhaps best known for his work on the comic book version of "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer," Hector Gomez has a true talent for capturing the ineffable beauty of the female form. Originally published in the Battle Cry - Women of War portfolio issued by SQP, Inc. in 1995, this is a lovely example from an up-and-coming artist.

hi! i was rewatching sqp earlier today (buying the bluray was an a++ decision) and during the night session of kuberaji, quell answered one of the questions with the names of solids/quell members. i'm assuming the question was something along the lines of who they admire/respect or want to be closer to in the units, but i don't know japanese so i'm not actually sure ;;;; if it's okay with you and not too much trouble, would you be able to clarify? thank you for always sharing love for quell <3

Sorry for the late reply; I didn’t get a notification for this message, and when I did notice it in my inbox I was busy preparing to move back from Japan to Australia, and even now I’m still unpacking ToT

Anyway, to answer your question, I dug out my SQP DVD :D I’m guessing you’re referring to the fanmail asking them to name SQ members who turned out different from initial impressions, after spending about a year together. Here’s an abridged version of the script.

Eichi: From QUELL - Issei; surprisingly inquisitive, always asking questions. From Solids - Dai-kun; Woud never have pegged him to have a sweet tooth. We sometimes go out and buy cakes together :)

Issei: Shu; he was just this mysterious figure when we first met.

Ichiru: I thought the same! *Does an impersonation of Shu inviting them to Tokyo* Who offers to take strangers under their wing just like that? He’s so kind that you can’t help but be suspicious.

Ichiru: As for SolidS……. *reluctantly* …Tsubasa. …He’s a good guy.

Issei: For me, it’s Shiki-san. He’s actually an interesting (implied: funny) person.

Shu: Eichi. He’s talented, flexible and compassionate; so much more than I imagined.

Eichi: *has a heart attack*
