Pure heart. No fear. Never quit. ⛷💥🚀🎥 by @vertical_dave ・・・ Today was a great day! I won a significant mental battle and skied my first line in the #chimney. A big check on my list of skiing goals. The "loft" air got the best of me this time, but I'll be back for redemption tomorrow! #team_praxis #skiing #palisades #squallywood #rocketvodka @praxisskis @flylowgear @shredoptics @slytechprotect @intuitionliners @grasssticks @tahoesportshub #aprèsspirit #alwaysaprès #aprèsski #skiing #trying #failing #neverquit #rocketvodka #peakmoments
Sack Up & Send It: Sunny Skies and Spring Snow at Squallywood - Squaw Valley, Tahoe, California, USA
Thanks Snowbomb, San Francisco Giants Stadium Was A Blast
Last week we packed up one of our shop walls, some skis, and headed to San Francisco Giants stadium for Snowbomb's annual ski and wine/board and brews festival. We had a great time and enjoyed a solid turnout of visitors to our booth. The Mt. Diablo, our new powder ski received quite a few oooh's and aaahhh's likely due to its imposing size and great looks. Folks were also enjoying the bright graphics, locally manufactured skis that proudly represent Northern California.
Clark Martin and Scott Pollman were our athlete representatives and Clark put in probably 40 plus hours of work prepping skis, moving to the show and hanging in the booth. Huge thanks to Clark for his contribution last week. Ian Ferguson, our chief ski builder production dude, was even working the weekend of the show, finishing up a pair of our hot new Squallywood skis during the show Saturday and overnight. Really hard work from the whole team and a lot of fun for both us and all the current and future BOONE customers who came by the booth. Thanks again to everyone who stopped in and said hello. Another thanks to Jim McAlpine and the entire Snowbomb Crew for hosting such a rad event for the San Francisco bay area ski community.
Cheers and see you next year!
