How many vhs different covers you have/ plan to make?

i don't have any really planned per se! im just gonna keep going until it stops being fun

it's also practice for tixl, and there are a few techniques I want to try:

metaballs, perhaps cubes as well

gradient colors mapped to normals if i can figure out a nice way to do that (possible combo with the above)

checkerboard floors and/or tron grids

ribbons

displacement maps on parallel lines/gradients

so... at least 4 more? :P

ok. dude. bro. rat kings are cool "conceptually" but.... uhhhhh. a REAL LIFE rat kings is actually a horrible, filthy nightmare..... like... multiple, usually dozens, of rats crammed into a small, cramped area in filthy conditions for so long their hair and tails matte together and tangle.... YECH... NIGHTMARE.

BUT IT’S HALLOWEEN!!!!Jokes aside, I know, I know, don’t worry! I’ve always loved horribly mutated monsters so the idea of a MONSTER rat king is just great to me. The concept itself is also great for stylistic pieces of art where less body horror is featured (see some of the art I reblogged). I of course feel sorry for the poor animals that get entangled and slowly perish IRL, and seeing the real rat king mummies made me sad  :( if I saw a IRL rat king I’d certainly try to untangle it if it was in my abilities (as I read on the wiki page, a squirrel king was found still alive and the squirrels were separated by veterinarians).
