I am telling you. Whenever Squid Daddy goes "Why won't you trust me" in Act 3 especially, I just NEED the option to reply: "I have now trusted you the entire time, HOW ABOUT YOU TRUST ME FOR A CHANGE?!" My Tav is dumb, yes, but he actually has a plan.
And yeah, admittedly, I am kinda pissed in that regard, that Larian does not really give you ever the option to persuade the Emperor to maybe... just go along with your plan for a change. Like, by all means, make that persuasion roll super hard. Give it like a 35 difficulty. But I am playing a fucking bard for a reason. LET ME PERSUATE PEOPLE!
