Pff well thanks, I mean if you’re really interested most is online (I think it’s the most recent edit? Not sure.) and I can post the rest by request, but some warnings first:

I started writing without plot, just wanting to see where it goes, then later tried to add plot. The characters were underdeveloped (which I tried to correct) and there were way too many of them (which I did not try to correct). Despite constant rewriting I am of the opinion that I succeeded in none of these areas.

Also at 12 it sort of developed into a story where ‘fantasy species is discriminated against’ and everyone is white and straight. I later learned better, tried to add diversity in, and learn about racism and actually make real world references to the matter, but in the end the reason I dropped the novel was because I decided this wasn’t a story I should be telling (I’m sorry that took so long, it’d been a thing for maybe 8 years by then and I had attachments, I’m largely indifferent to it now, it doesn’t even feel like a thing i wrote).

The story reached its end chapters before I quit.

It just wasn’t good. I’m capable of better I think.

So if you want it here you go, but proceed with caution

Usually Button’s pretty brave but this storm had her trying to hide on my lap, and finally under the couch. :(

Ah yeah, it’s kinda taken over my notifications the past two days haha, it’s got about 800% more notes than any other thing I’ve ever posted so far. 

I’m glad everyone is enjoying it (it’s amusing that all the comments on the post are just more screaming). It’s really nice to see so many other people getting excited over Attenborough, those documentaries are all so wonderful and I’m sure this one will be too.

Who knows, maybe someday I’ll post something that I actually made myself that gets people as excited!
