best/worst shows youve worked on?
Ooooh, hard one!
I think for best shows...it’s hard...I think the one I had the most fun on and learned the most on was A Dream Play which...you know I never actually saw the play itself? But I was working Carpentry and then got loaned out to props and paint and lighting when they couldn’t find things for me to do, so I learned quite a lot and was involved in quite a few parts of it! and all of my crew heads were super nice and very keen to teach us first years so I had an excellent time! Best show form an audience view point was probably Fiddler on the Roof! It was a great large scale production with a lot of hard work and great performers and crew!
In terms of worst shows...like... from and audience point of view was...idk, most of the shows I have worked on are not ones I particularly would enjoy seeing? But in terms of working on...probs Fiddler, mainly because that I didn’t really feel I was getting a lot from learning wise, and I got hit with tablesaw kickback and I went to emerg to get it checked out(it was fine but boy did it swell(also it wasn’t my fault as that saw kicked back 4 times inclucing on the head carp and he figured something was up with the table itself so!!!)) also I was a super las tminute asm(like...my first show was thier first show) running off of someone else’s notes so that was quite stressful and my crohn’s was flaring by the end of the run so it was... not that fun. but even then I still met quite a few great people and had a good time so Fiddler’s not even my “””worst””” just my least best y’know?
