I just read Saga volume 12, and at some point Squire is watching the news, and there's protests in the Robot planet, a woman saying all the nobles are bastards and Squire is like "but I didn't do anything" and then I realized they did something cool with Squire because he's a noble who genuinely has never benefited from his position, he was kidnapped when he was a baby (a newborn even) and never went back, he has spent his entire life with the dregs of society

Saga thoughts

post-time skip Hazel is hilarious sometimes. She spends all this time worrying about Squire showing his colors and revealing his true identity, but the minute a passing robot says “hey that kid looks kinda noble” she’s like “well you see my brother is a long-lost prince.”

Obviously they don’t believe her, because who expects to see a missing prince homeless and adopted into a mixed-species family. But GIRL.
