i just read anterograde tomorrow

I am now sobbing like no one has ever sobbed before.

Well, this is a lie. I'm not actually sobbing that hard. There are actually only a few tears dripping off my face right now. But my heart is feeling an incredibly acute, keeling, piercing pain, so much so that for this moment in time, I feel like nothing in the world could possibly ever be happy again. This is the reason why I hate sad endings, why I avoid them like the plague - all because of this intense pain that makes me want to double over gasping at the horrible, horrible sense of loss and despair.

I mixed this story up with Arbitrage...which, incidentally, is also incredibly sad. Why the hell is 95% of Kaisoo fanfic angsty and inevitably ends with one of the two dying? Or both? WHY???? WHY DOES MY FAVORITE OTP HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS?? THEY'RE BOTH SUCH FLUFFY, ADORABLE PEOPLE IN REAL LIFE, WHO THE HELL STARTED THE TRADITION OF WRITING THEM IN MORBIDLY SAD STORIES??? I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A TALK WITH THEM.
