 I do when it comes to conventions! Haven’t actually started a print shop online just yet.

How did you like Captain Tomorrow? I know there some glitches in the text but did you find it funny?

Oh yeah! I think it's very good, very like the old scifi shows (and futurama's portrayal of them too).

There were a decent amount of typos but overall it's well written and I had a lot of fun running through it. Are there more like it planned? 

I particularly liked how you got to claim the planet and build a spoon fork weapon lol

Some Patreon suggestions. What we plan to do on our patreon is have an early release date for our videos. Patreon supporters will be able to see it a week early with no advertisements. We're also thinking of offering monthly drawings for free stuff from our shop. Could also have "Making Of" videos exclusive to patreon supporters. Could also allow patreon supporters to vote on what game you do next.

Yeah but that's still exclusive content which is the thing I'm aiming to avoid.It becomes an extra step of having to prepare content for use with another platform in the hope that the handful of people contributing to you will actually see it in time.

It's something that works fine on paper but doesn't work so well on execution unless you either have a huge influx of people contributing from the start.

The majority of my content are looping GIFs. Not a whole lot to work with, haha. Removing watermarks is about the best I can do in that regard. The "Making Of" setup I had before was giving people access to the art stream and the time lapses early but in most cases I draw the thing and then upload it the next day.

Like I said there just aren't enough people for it to be justified, it also means every time I go to stream I have to log into Patreon, make a new post with a link to the stream and then I have to update the password and so then the feed becomes clogged with stream posts that I have to delete and it just creates more unnecessary work for me in the long run.

I kind of want a sense of community where people chat to me and chat to others in the same way that they're starting to with Twitch, it can be annoying in some ways if people are being critical of what I'm doing but it's still something and that's better than just sitting there drawing with nothing going on for me to distract myself with.

The contribution tiers I have in place aren't high enough for monthly drawings and I wanted the loyalty options in place because I want contributors to feel like they're contributing toward something mutually beneficial in the long run. The pass cards may just seem like a piece of plastic to some people but they're representative of the time and money someone has taken to support me, sort of like a step up from just saying thanks in addition to shouting their name out across the internet.

Don't get me wrong, the ideas you're offering are good and they may benefit you quite well but it's a scheme that would end up locking me into something I can't always guarantee and something that I would have to put extra time and effort into for something that nobody would end up seeing or making use of.

State of the Squishy Address

Gonna be fairly quiet around here for a while. We've got three or four conventions coming up in the next four months. That means a LOT of time chained to the sewing machine. But it also means we'll be rolling out some new items very soon! We have 10 DS case designs in the works and we've initiated negotiations with the artist who made the Super Peach drawing http://lillayfran.deviantart.com/art/Super-Peach-413039563 Hopefully we can work out an arrangement to use the artwork on a DS case.

We have a couple new Squishimals coming out and we will be renaming them Cubies! I love the name Squishimals but it is too similar to Squishibles which are round shaped plushies. (Square is better)  We've got Evee and Umbreon pokemon designs that I've been working on.

Some interesting facts about pandas!

Pandas are carnivores who, at some point and for whatever reason, decided they liked the taste of bamboo over the taste of meat. Unfortunately, they still have the digestive system of a carnivore and lack the huge stomach and specialized bacteria herbivores have to break down plant matter efficiently. As a result, Pandas barely get any nutrition from their bamboo diet and must compensate by eating almost every waking moment of every day or else they would starve.

Though the panda is often assumed to be docile, it has been known to attack humans, presumably out of irritation rather than aggression. So, don't troll a panda.
