Me: I just think it was a mistake not making Eli the one with Marshall connect because it could’ve been a storyline where Eli becomes fed up with Marshall stealing his ideas so he’s just as invested as the Boss to show them up and maybe he betrays the Saints when a more lucrative deal comes along when Myra takes over cause he’s already shown to me one of those wannabe entrepreneur business types even praising Sergio for stiffing ppl on their pay. Sure, it would retread Dex’s storyline but I think it could’ve been an opportunity to do a Dex storyline with a more conclusive ending. Like, Boss & Dex could’ve been depicted as closer friends which could’ve made a betrayal hurt that much more—
