The Final Comic of this year’s SRR

Originally, I had a definitive ending that is more straight forward. But for this, I felt leaving it ambiguous was for the best. After all, Yume Nikki is about interpreting the story for yourself and Undertale is about choices you made. Seeing how it went down before and during, how do you think it would have ended?

We have a winner!

With how everything was aligned and the order, Toriel was the one to be the semi-finalist. It makes the most sense story wise without her winning. And speaking of winning...

Yes, King Lyger did win and wasn’t eliminated when you thought it was. And I set it up so you would notice it. First, I highlighted the doors. That’ll give you the knowledge they existed. Second, I showed Lyger doing the same trick earlier in the match. Third, thanks to Cameron, I showed that the doors can be interacted with before disappearing. And with all that set, Lyger’s surprise survival was finalized. All that remained was to set it in motion and play up the idea he is gone. After all, the finals are usually the more exciting moment so you have the right to miss a few things.

The Final Two...

If you follow my other Tumblrs, you would know Rainbow Factory Dash is going to use a certain Skeleton. Game Over originally created him for the SRR, but he was too small for my needs. But I do plan on using that sprite sheet and as a thanks, I made him the 4th Place.

Ranis I love using and like last year I wish she gets in earlier. But she got third place over GO because I can’t really see GO fight Toriel or her willing to hurt him. But I can totally see Ranis doing both scenarios. I’ll explain more about this and the surprise you see here tomorrow.

The Final Four.

The sad thing about being the last to enter is that you only have so little time to work with. Add to the fact the computer problems wanted me to end it sooner, Zink didn’t get much action as I would like. But I did get to do some fun stuff. And maybe have a story for next time...

Xen had a fun design to use and I am thankful XTP597 allowed me to use him. He was fun to use and I hope whoever uses him can have just as much fun.

As for Lyger, I know this is similar to a previous SRR, but it had to happen.
